SHORT-EARED OWLS - presentation by Dave Haupt
Klamath Basin Audubon Society
Favell Museum, Klamath Falls
6:30pm

This presentation will feature numerous local photographers’ photos
taken during this year’s winter concentration of Short-eared Owls at
Lower Klamath NWR. Close-up views of their stares, buffy colors, and their sometimes-high wing angle will be seen. Dave will cover the
biology of this not often seen bird of the grasslands and marsh. Their
numbers have diminished over time, so seeing concentrations is

thrilling.
