The Magic of Woodpeckers
OSU EXTENSION SERVICE | Land Steward Program
Online Presentation by Shannon Rio of Klamath Bird Observatory
6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Woodpeckers are keystone species; they play a critical role in the overall health and wellbeing of our ecological community by providing nesting and roosting holes for dozens of other birds and mammals. This presentation will feature nine of our local and somewhat common woodpeckers. Class fee is $15 per person or sliding scale. The cost helps support the OSU Extension Land Steward Program. Registrants will also receive a link to the Zoom recording after the class.
