Moore Park Bird Walk
Klamath Basin Audubon Society Field Trip
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Walking and listening to birds in this great park and, of course, viewing them too! Expect sparrows and woodpeckers, and possibly hear Mountain Quail, Anna’s Hummingbird, and Oak Titmouse. The walk will stay on the paved trails and may involve crossing over Lakeshore Drive to view near-shore birds on the Upper Klamath Lake. That might include returning grebes, pelicans, and cormorants. The trail does go up and down, and total distance will be around 2 miles at a comfortably slow pace.

Meet at the first parking lot after entering Moore Park, and before the newer and larger parking area near the new playground.
